Our Story
The Segun Ajibulu Foundation was born out of a deep-seated desire to make a difference.
How It All Began
Our founder, Mr. Segun Ajibulu, envisioned a world where every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to opportunities that enable them to thrive. Starting with small acts of kindness in local communities, the foundation quickly grew into a beacon of hope, reaching thousands of lives across diverse regions.
What began as a mission to support widows and orphans has evolved into a comprehensive effort to address poverty, empower youth, and uplift entire communities. Today, our story continues to be written by the lives we touch, the futures we transform, and the collective efforts of everyone who joins us in our mission.

What Drives Us
Our story is shaped by a belief in the power of compassion and collective effort. With every program we launch and every life we impact, we are reminded that true change happens when people come together to support one another. Our journey is fueled by the resilience of those we serve and the unwavering dedication of our team, volunteers, and supporters.

Empowering Widows Through Enterprise
In 2023, our "Widow to Warrior" initiative trained 100 widows in tailoring and provided each participant with sewing machines and startup funds. These women, once dependent on external aid, are now running successful tailoring businesses in their communities. One widow, Mrs. Adebola, expressed, “I no longer feel helpless. I can now support my children and give them a better future.” This project didn’t just empower individuals; it revitalized local economies, creating ripple effects of growth and stability.

A Brighter Future for Orphans
In 2022, the Segun Ajibulu Foundation transformed the lives of 50 orphans in Ibadan by providing full scholarships and mentorship programs. These children, previously unable to access quality education, now attend school with the resources they need—textbooks, uniforms, and meals. Beyond academics, the mentorship program has equipped them with emotional support and life skills, ensuring they have the foundation to thrive. One of the students, Tobi, dreams of becoming a doctor and shared, “This opportunity has given me hope and the courage to dream again.”

Youth Empowerment Through Technology
In 2021, the foundation launched a Digital Skills Training program, teaching 200 youths web development, graphic design, and digital marketing. With these skills, many participants secured jobs or started freelancing businesses. One participant, Grace, now runs a thriving online business and said, “This program gave me the tools to take charge of my future. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved, and I’m excited for what’s next.”

Clean Water for Rural Communities
In 2020, we tackled water scarcity in five rural villages by constructing clean water systems that now serve over 3,000 residents. Before this project, women and children had to walk miles to fetch water from unsafe sources, risking illness and missing school. Today, access to clean water has significantly improved hygiene, health, and quality of life. The village chief of Ogbomosho shared, “This project has changed our lives. Our children are healthier, and our women have more time to focus on productive activities.”
